​Choosing engineering as a career is one thing, choosing specific engineering field is another thing, apart from being interested in a specific field, one should consider the worth of the field before going for it, am sure as an engineer, we all wish to know our worth in our environment. Now one thing to know is that your worth as an engineer might differ depending on the level of the development of your environment, for instance in a country that produces most automobiles in the world, mechanical engineers will be very lucky to be in the country.   <!--more-->   Different datas have been gathered and analyzed. 3 Chemical engineering is a branch of engineering that applies physical sciences (physics and chemistry) and life sciences (microbiology and biochemistry) together with applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, transport, and properly use chemicals, materials and energy. 4 Aerospace engineering is the primary field of engineering concerned with the development of aircraft and spacecraft. It is divided into two major and overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. Worth $58 and above.

5 Computer engineering is a discipline that integrates several fields of electrical engineering and computer science required to develop computer hardware and software. Worth $58 and above.

6 Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Worth $55 and above.

7 Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies the principles of engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Worth $52 and above.
